StraitsX is one of the core products developed by Xfers. Users can convert their SGD to XSGD and vice versa through StraitsX platform, which serves as a bridge between traditional financial system and blockchain-based platform.
XSGD (Singapore dollar-backed token) is a stablecoin issued by StraitsX. XSGD is intended to provide a digital representation of the Singapore Dollar on the blockchain, allowing users to make faster and cheaper cross-border transactions using decentralized technology.
The Challenge
In 2021, my challenge was to create a new platform that improves the user experience for crypto users. This includes enhancing user onboarding, fiat onramp and offramp services, supporting multiple digital assets.
Over one month, I collaborated closely with the product manager and marketing executive as the sole designer to develop a new platform.
My Approach
I conducted usability tests on shortlisted concepts with users, iterated based on feedback, and refined them before sending for production.
After the product launch, I utilized the FullStory tool to monitor and analyze user interactions, capturing instances of frustration and impatience stemming from issues like rage clicks, errors, and mouse thrashing.
